In short, for consumers

• Prices shown at checkout are final and include every tax and fee. Shipping is free on every order.
• 14 days to change your mind from the day you receive your order, for any reason. See our Returns and withdrawal policy and the withdrawal form.
• Legal guarantee: if a case is faulty or not as described, you are covered for at least two years from delivery, at no cost to you.
• Problems: write to us first at hello@archivecases.com. You can also use alternative dispute resolution through ANPC (section 15).

These terms apply to every order placed on archivecases.com. Nothing in them limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

1. Who we are

archivecases.com is operated by Alexandru-Nicolae Zanfir, a private individual, at Strada Polonă 45, 5th floor, Sector 1, 010493 Bucharest, Romania. Not registered for VAT.

"We", "us" and "Archive Cases" mean the seller above. "You" means the person placing the order.

2. Who can order

Our shop is for consumers buying for personal use. You need to be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission. We deliver to the countries listed in our Shipping policy.

3. Our products

Every case is printed to order for the phone or AirPods model you choose, by our production partner in the European Union. Product photos are renders and studio photographs of the real design. Colours can look slightly different on screen than in print, and the print wraps around the edges a little differently on each model.

You choose your device model before you add a case to your cart. Please check it matches your phone or AirPods exactly: a case made for one model does not fit another.

4. Prices, currencies and offers

Our prices are set in euros. If you shop from another country, we show prices in your local currency: for Romania these are fixed prices in lei, and for other currencies Shopify converts the euro price at the current exchange rate. The amount you pay is the one shown at checkout, in the currency shown there.

Prices include all taxes. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on top of the price you see. Shipping is free. There are no customs fees for deliveries inside the European Union.

The set offer. When your order holds a phone case and an AirPods case, the AirPods case is discounted automatically at checkout, by the amount shown on the product page. One AirPods case is discounted for each phone case in the order.

Discount codes are valid only as described where we publish them, for one order each, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Unless we say otherwise, a code cannot be combined with the set offer; checkout always shows which discount applies before you pay.

When we show a reduced price, the reference price is the lowest price we charged for that product in the 30 days before the reduction.

5. How an order is placed

1. Choose a design and your device model, and add it to your cart.
2. At checkout, enter your contact and delivery details and choose a payment method.
3. Before you pay, you see a summary of your order with the total price. You can correct any detail there.
4. When you press the button to complete your order, you make a binding offer to buy and agree to pay.
5. The contract is concluded when we send you the order confirmation email. It contains these terms, your order summary and a link to our policies.

We may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available or a price was shown in obvious error. If we decline after you have paid, we refund the full amount without delay, at the latest within 14 days.

6. Payment

You can pay with the methods shown at checkout. Your payment is taken when you place the order. Card details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card numbers.

7. Delivery

Delivery times, destinations and what to do if a parcel is late or lost are in our Shipping policy. The risk of loss or damage passes to you only when you, or a person you name, receive the parcel. If it arrives damaged, we replace it.

8. Your right to change your mind

You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the day you receive it, without giving a reason. The cases are printed for your chosen model, but they are standard designs from our catalogue, so this right applies to them in full. How it works, the costs and refund times are in our Returns and withdrawal policy.

9. Legal guarantee of conformity

We are responsible if a product is faulty or not as described when it is delivered and the fault shows within two years of delivery. You can ask for a free repair or replacement, or, where that is not possible or does not solve the problem, a price reduction or a full refund. Please tell us as soon as you notice the problem, with your order number and a photo. This legal guarantee is in addition to your right of withdrawal.

10. Product safety

Our cases are protective accessories for phones and AirPods, not toys. Keep packaging away from small children. The AirPods case comes with a carabiner; do not use it to carry anything other than the case. Products are manufactured for us in the European Union; the person responsible for them in the EU is Alexandru-Nicolae Zanfir, Strada Polonă 45, 5th floor, Sector 1, 010493 Bucharest, Romania, hello@archivecases.com. If we ever learn that a product we sold is unsafe, we will contact the customers concerned and offer a repair, replacement or refund.

11. Designs and content

The designs, photos, texts and the Archive Cases name belong to us or to the artists we work with. You may not copy, print or sell them without our written permission. Buying a case gives you the case, not the rights to its design.

12. Reviews

If we show customer reviews, they come from customers who bought the product, and we say how we check this. We never publish invented reviews or pay for positive ones.

13. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for faulty products, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. A case protects your device against everyday knocks; it does not guarantee that a device will survive every fall.

15. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of that country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

If something goes wrong, write to us first at hello@archivecases.com; we answer within two business days. Consumers can also turn to alternative dispute resolution through the Romanian consumer authority, ANPC: reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can help with cross-border complaints.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
